How we collect prices

We read prices only from public web pages: a lab's own site, its chain/franchise pricing page, or the DEXASCAN.com booking marketplace (labeled "via DEXASCAN.com").
Each price is the standard self-pay price for one test. If a lab only publishes a membership or "starting at" price we label it from and leave it out of the medians and cheapest-price callouts.
If we can't find a price, we show Call / unlisted. We never estimate or carry forward old prices.
An automated checker re-fetches every source page, re-reads the price, flags changes and stores a dated snapshot. Last check: 2026-10-19.
Labs can claim their listing to correct information.
